From Grand Junction to Moab: High desert/prairie gives way to follow the upper Colorado river, deeper into the canyon. .

Trip to Moab, Utah. Outdoor activity central. Landed in Grand Junction, CO and took scenic route. First afternoon through Colorado National Monument.

The Friendship of Nations fountain in Moscow. The fountain is decorated with 16 gold-plated female figures representing the USSR republics. From high school trip in 1973.

Deer grazing on grass in the back yard, not much left to eat. Snow nearly gone.

Heavy wet snow broke a 20 foot cedar in half. Looks like about 30 years old.

8 inches of heavy wet snow, not a snowplow in sight, 25 knot winds today. Toby not impressed.
